Dear Friends and Supporters of The Arc of Greater Cleveland:
As we approach the end of 2018, we recognize this as a time for remembering with gratitude those individuals and organizations who have supported the mission of The Arc of Greater Cleveland.
First and foremost, we recognize Cindy Norwood, recently retired Executive Director of The Arc of Greater Cleveland. For the past 18 years, serving a number of different capacities within our organization, Cindy has tirelessly worked for individuals with developmental disabilities in northeastern Ohio and their families. She has touched the lives of many, whom she assisted during critical junctures in their lives, fueled by passion for justice and informed by her intimate knowledge of the complex disabilities support and service system.
We thank Michael Drops, who continues to provide desperately-needed school-age advocacy services for The Arc of Greater Cleveland.
We recognize other staff and volunteers who have served The Arc of Greater Cleveland by answering telephone inquiries, providing individual support and services, and implementing grant-funded programming.
We recognize past and present board members, who generously volunteer their time and lend their expertise in order to keep the doors of The Arc of Greater Cleveland open, especially during this time of transition.
We recognize organizations who supported our special programming through grants, including The Cleveland Foundation, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Special Hope Foundation, and United Black Fund. We acknowledge the on-going support of Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities for our People First program.
As we search for an interim director, and plan for the future of The Arc of Greater Cleveland in the years ahead, we appeal to our friends and supporters for year-end donations. If The Arc of Greater Cleveland has ever made an impact on you or someone you care about, or if you support the mission of The Arc of Greater Cleveland, please donate.
In recognition of Cindy Norwood's lifetime of work, my family are I are donating $5,000 to The Arc of Greater Cleveland. Show people with developmental disabilities and their families that you care. Donate to The Arc of Greater Cleveland. Any donation amount is welcomed and valued.
